In the 1980’s & 90’s the general regional attitude was “no we don’t have it, but we can order it”. The Phoenix philosophy was, and still is, to be different - aiming to have stock available for immediate purchase for individual and corporate clients. Years of responding to customer requests has the group carrying over $500,000 of stock between the Cairns and Townsville stores.

The specialised Water Street Maintenance and Development workshop has been designed so that all manner of healthcare equipment (including wheelchairs, wheeled walkers, beds, toileting and shower aids) can be refurbished, repaired and restored for hire and sale. This service is available to all locals, corporate clients and travellers.

Prescribers, carers and personal shoppers are welcome to visit the Phoenix and Condor showrooms, discuss their needs and try any of the items available within the extensive Phoenix Healthcare Group range.

Purchase orders are accepted from government departments, community councils, hospitals, nursing homes and support organisations.
