Proud to support Sharks Netball

The Phoenix Healthcare Group values local community organisations and their contribution to the development of the region. As such, the company is proud to support the 2010 Cairns Sharks Netball team.

Phoenix Healthcare Group is an official sponsor of the local sport team, which nurtures players age 10 to adult. All teams have commenced training, with the official season running from March until September 2010.

Games are played at the popular Martyn Street courts on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, but the Sharks netballers can often be spotted in their red and navy-blue uniforms getting fit around town, running along the Esplanade or Saint Andrews College (Redlynch).

There are approximately 80 players as well as their families who form part of the Sharks Netball family, and the group advocate that the sport is ideal for meeting friends, developing critical social skills and of course, getting fit.

The players all have a lot of fun each year, but are proud to win seasons as well. Several divisions of seniors and juniors won last year, with all senior teams making the finals.
